Law enforcement sources said cops visited the home of Naquan Calderon, 23, on 65th Street between Metropolitan and Admiral avenues at 6:26 p.m. on March 25. He was home at the time along with Donna Sanderson, 21, who resides in Manhattan. Police sources said the search was the result of an ongoing NYPD investigation, although the specifi cs about the probe were not disclosed. During their search, authorities said, the offi cers recovered two assault rifl es, both of which had their serial numbers defaced. Law enforcement sources said Ivan Valle, 53, allegedly got into a fi ght with his son inside a home on 60th Street near 59th Drive at about 11:30 p.m. on April 21, prompting a 911 call and a visit from 104th Precinct offi cers. Upon arrival, according to information provided by the Queens District Attorney’s offi ce, the offi cers learned that Valle allegedly swung a wooden stick at his son several times. Th e elder Valle was subsequently taken into custody on charges including menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon. While he was being processed, prosecutors said, Valle allegedly told police that he kept guns for a friend inside a safe inside the 60th Street home. Police secured written consent from Valle to search the safe on Saturday aft ernoon, April 22. Upon opening the safe, authorities said, police found inside a black .223-caliber Bushmaster assault rifle along with 294 cartridges and three large-capacity magazines. A dozen additional weapons were recovered from the safe, including various rifl es and shotguns. Each weapon had valid serial numbers, but prosecutors said that Valle did not have proper permits to own the assault rifl es recovered from the scene. Valle was additionally booked on multiple counts of second-, third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and 12 counts of lacking permits for possession and purchase of rifl es and shotguns. According to police, the three men in question drove up to the 21-year-old and 19-year-old victims near the intersection of Wyckoff Avenue and Schaefer Street at approximately 9:37 p.m. on July 15 when a verbal dispute broke out. The fi ght turned violent when the trio began punching the victims about the face and body, cops said. In addition to the beating, the individuals also cut their victims with sharp objects during the brawl. Law enforcement agents reported that the victims suff ered lacerations to their faces and heads. When offi cers from the 104th Precinct and EMS arrived on scene, the victims were transported to Jamaica Hospital in serious but stable condition. The individuals fl ed the scene heading eastbound on Norman Street inside of a dark-colored four-door sedan. Police described the three suspects as Hispanic males. One wore a white shirt and dark-colored pants; the second wore red pants; and the third was last seen wearing a white shirt, a dark-colored baseball cap, and dark-colored pants. Law enforcement sources said the incident occurred at 4 p.m. on Oct. 2 in the vicinity of Seneca Avenue and Stephen Street. According to authorities, the 12-year-old victim was walking through the area when she was approached by the suspect, who asked her for a piece of paper. She then removed a slip of paper from her backpack, and when she turned around, she saw that the man had dropped his pants and exposed his genitals. Police said the perpetrator took off in an unknown direction; the girl ran home and told her mother, who contacted the 104th Precinct. The NYPD described the suspect as a Hispanic male with a light complexion believed to be between 18 and 25 years of age, with a muscular build and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with white stripes down the arms and blue jeans, and riding a bicycle. The stickup took place at 8:24 p.m. on Jan. 28 inside the Maspeth Deli and Grocery located at 59-66 56th Ave. near 60th Street. The video shows the two male bandits casually walking into the store, and then cuts to one of the suspects — a black or Hispanic male wearing an orange knit cap, a blue coat, blue jeans and red sneakers — pulling out a firearm. According to the criminal complaint provided by the Queens District Attorney’s offi ce, Joseph Cancemi, 27, was seen by 104th Precinct offi cers at about 4 p.m. on April 27 riding a bike on the sidewalk near the intersection of 66th Drive and 78th Street when he stopped and talked to Safet Cucaj — who was also collared for the incident. It was then that cops observed Cancemi allegedly hand three glassine envelopes each containing a quantity of heroin to Cucaj, and Cucaj hand Cancemi $30. envelopes Police found the three glassine of heroin in Cucaj’s wallet, $30 in Cancemi’s pocket, an additional $107 from his pants pocket, as well as 33 glassine envelopes of heroin and two glass pipes with a quantity of cocaine from his jacket pocket, the complaint continued. Cancemi has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and fi ft h-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Upon further investigation, Cancemi was also pinched for allegedly slashing a man with a sharp object while riding the bus at the intersection of 59th Drive and 59th Street in Maspeth on March 17. The city’s Medical Examiner’s offi ce determined that Erika Kraus-Breslin succumbed in May of 2016 to homicidal asphyxiation via neck compression, according to law enforcement sources. Kraus-Breslin shared her 65th Street home with her 30-year-old grandson, Christopher Fuhrer, who was arrested in October for allegedly hiding his grandmother’s body inside the residence. As of press time Wednesday, Jan. 18, Fuhrer had not been charged with Kraus-Breslin’s death, but the homicide investigation is ongoing, police sources said. Offi cers from the 104th Precinct found Kraus-Breslin’s body on the aft ernoon of Oct. 5, 2016, while making a wellness check to her home on 65th Street near 68th Avenue. Aft er she died, Fuhrer allegedly painted her body, wrapped it in 16 plastic bags and placed air fresheners throughout the home in order to mask the stench of death. The New York Daily News reported that Fuhrer claimed he didn’t report her death right away out of fear that he would lose his home. Following questioning, Fuhrer was arrested and charged with concealment of a human corpse, not reporting a death and burial/body removal without proper permit; he remains held on $350,000 bail, according to court records. Law enforcement sources said the crook fi rst struck at 2:22 a.m. on Oct. 24, when he climbed through an unlocked window of an apartment in the area of Fresh Pond Road and Madison Street. Though he walked out of the apartment moments later empty-handed, authorities said, the bandit would take advantage of unsecured windows at three other locations. At 4 p.m. on Oct. 27, police noted, the bandit entered a home in the area of Fresh Pond Road and Myrtle Avenue. He removed more than $9,500 in electronics and jewelry. That same day in the same area, he managed to enter another apartment and stole $1,000 in jewelry. Finally, at 8 a.m. on Nov. 10, the perpetrator burglarized an apartment on Palmetto Street near Fresh Pond Road. He reportedly stole $620 in electronics and purses. Each incident was reported to the 104th Precinct. On Dec. 12, police released video footage of the perpetrator inside one of the apartments. He’s described as a white man between 20 and 30 years of age wearing all black clothing.
