Gunman steal
payroll cash
from junkyard

Cops continue to look for the
armed bandits who robbed
thousands of dollars from a
Ridgewood auto wrecking company
last week.
Law enforcement
sources said the
stickup occurred
at 2:40 p.m. on Nov.
9 inside Aalba Auto
Wrecking located
at 152 Woodward
Ave., near Flushing
Avenue.
According to
police, the two men
confronted workers
and displayed a silver fi rearm. They
proceeded to take a payroll bag
containing $20,000 in cash before
fl eeing the scene in a blue Chrysler
300 that was last seen heading westbound
on Troutman Street.
Offi cers from the 104th Precinct
responded to the incident. No injuries
were reported.
Police described the suspects
as black men with medium builds,
standing between 5 feet, 8 inches
and 5 feet, 10 inches tall. One of the
perpetrators had a tattoo on the side
of his neck.
The precinct tweeted out images
of the duo on Nov. 12. Anyone with
information regarding the two
suspects’ whereabouts can call the
104th Precinct Detective Squad
at 718-386-2723. All calls are kept
confi dential.
