She’s cuff ed
for robbing
cold meds
from mart

Police arrested a woman who
pulled a box cutter on a store
employee in Glendale and
took off with cold medicine.
According to the criminal complaint
that the Queens District Attorney’s
offi ce provided, at 5:10 a.m. on
Sept. 29, Brooklyn resident Pamela
Barrow, 47, entered the convenience
store located at 71-05 Myrtle Ave.
While inside, an employee allegedly
saw Barrow putting store merchandise
under a towel in her bag.
When the employee approached
Barrow and confronted her, authorities
said, Barrow allegedly pulled
out a box cutter and pointed it at
the employee. Barrow then fl ed the
scene with a bottle of Dayquil.
Offi cers from the 104th Precinct
responded to reports of the robbery,
and found Barrow shortly
thereaft er just four blocks away
from the store.
Officers recovered a bottle of
Dayquil wrapped in a towel from
her bag as well as a box cutter from
her pants pocket.
Barrow was then arrested and
charged with robbery, criminal
possession of a weapon and criminal
possession of stolen property.
She’s currently being held on
$15,000 bail and is due back in
Queens Criminal Court on Oct. 12,
according to court records
