Cops seeking
burglars who
hit home in
Maspeth

Police need the public’s help in
fi nding a pair of thieves who
stole $30,000 in cash after
breaking into a Maspeth home
earlier this month.
Law enforcement sources said
the incident occurred at 8:40 p.m.
on the night of Sept. 2 at a home on
72nd Street near 52nd Avenue.
According to authorities, the unidentifi
ed crooks climbed up to the
second-fl oor balcony of the dwelling
and entered the location. They
then proceeded to remove $30,000
in cash along with two credit cards
and a debit card before fl eeing the
scene.
The burglary was later reported
to the 104th Precinct.
No arrests have been made in
connection with the caper, and an
investigation by the 104th Precinct
Detective Squad is ongoing.
