Burglars grab
ATM from a
R’wood deli

Cops are looking for three
money-hungry thieves who
recently broke into a Ridgewood
deli and walked out with an
ATM full of cash.
According to police, at 5:15 a.m. on
Aug. 27, three unknown men broke
the lock on the rolling gate outside of
Anthony’s Deli, located at 665 Onderdonk
Ave. Once inside, the suspects
took an ATM, valued at $3,600 on its
own, that had $18,000 in U.S. currency
inside.
The crooks then loaded the ATM into
a dark-colored Ford Econoline van
and fl ed the scene. Another vehicle,
described as a white Dodge pickup
truck, is also wanted in connection to
the burglary.
Cops described the suspects as men
wearing dark and gray hooded sweatshirts.
The 104th Precinct tweeted out
a wanted poster of the suspects and
vehicles.
Anyone with information regarding
the burglary should call the NYPD
at 718-230-4403. All calls are kept
confi dential.
