Drug thief
hits store in
Ridgewood

Police are looking for the
bandit who leaped over the
counter while no one was
looking at a Ridgewood drug store
and helped himself to bottles of
medication.
The NYPD released on Aug. 27 security
camera images of the suspect
behind the theft that took place at 6:35
p.m. on July 27 inside the Walgreens
pharmacy located at 58-02 Metropolitan
Ave., near Forest Avenue.
According to law enforcement
sources, the crook — described as a
light-skinned male with facial hair
wearing a black bandana, a black
hood over his head, a black jacket,
black and white capri pants and
black sneakers — jumped over the
counter and grabbed fi ve bottles of
unidentifi ed medication. He then
exited the drug store and was last
seen heading westbound on Harman
Street.
The incident was reported to the
104th Precinct.
