She was a factory worker throughout Queens and Brooklyn. The daughter of Clarence and Margaret (nee Tenant) Nicholas, she was born on October 15, 1922. She was married to the late Antoni Duppke. Survivors include her daughter Deborah Ann Morholt, two sisters Lillian Lampasona and Eleanor O’Connell; three grandchildren Joseph Rivera, Christine Locurto, and Joann Locurto. Helen was predeceased by her son Joseph Locurto; three sisters Margie, Ruthie, and Dorothy; three brothers Eddie, Ronald and Alfred. Visitation and a prayer service were held on Wednesday, February 25, at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, Pa. Rev. James Walsh officiated at the prayer service. Burial will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, L.I., at the convenience of the family. ELFRIEDE K. FLACK (nee MULLER) of Alpharetta, Ga., formerly of Glendale, died on Monday, February 16, at the age of 90. A native of Czechoslovakia, she also lived in England prior to moving to the U.S. She is survived by her devoted husband, former Assemblyman John; her children John, Linda Palmato and the late Christopher; daughter in law Debra Flack; son-in-law John Palmato; grandchildren Christopher, Sharon, Jennifer, Elizabeth and the late John Jr. and great-grandchild Peyton.
