She was a factory worker throughout Queens and Brooklyn. The daughter of Clarence and Margaret (nee Tenant) Nicholas, she was born on October 15, 1922. She was married to the late Antoni Duppke. Survivors include her daughter Deborah Ann Morholt, two sisters Lillian Lampasona and Eleanor O’Connell; three grandchildren Joseph Rivera, Christine Locurto, and Joann Locurto. Helen was predeceased by her son Joseph Locurto; three sisters Margie, Ruthie, and Dorothy; three brothers Eddie, Ronald and Alfred. Visitation and a prayer service were held on Wednesday, February 25, at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, Pa. Rev. James Walsh officiated at the prayer service. Burial will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, L.I., at the convenience of the family. ELFRIEDE K. FLACK (nee MULLER) of Alpharetta, Ga., formerly of Glendale, died on Monday, February 16, at the age of 90. A native of Czechoslovakia, she also lived in England prior to moving to the U.S. She is survived by her devoted husband, former Assemblyman John; her children John, Linda Palmato and the late Christopher; daughter in law Debra Flack; son-in-law John Palmato; grandchildren Christopher, Sharon, Jennifer, Elizabeth and the late John Jr. and great-grandchild Peyton. Arrangements were under the direction of Roswell Funeral Home, Roswell, Ga. +++ AGATHA PULEO of Brooklyn died on Monday, February 23, at the age of 77. A native of Brooklyn, she was the dear sister of Joseph Puleo. CABRERA died on Monday, February 23, at the age of 87. She was the beloved mother of Hector R. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, February 25, at St. Adalbert’s Church, Elmhurst, followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth. +++ PETER FLORES died on Saturday, February 14, at the age of 65. He was a retired city Department of Parks and Recreation employee and a grand master of the martial arts, with over 55 years of study and hundreds of students. ALICE G. KUSTKA died on Sunday, February 22, at the age of 89. She was the wife of the late George, loving mother of George and Chris Kustka; Bill and Sharon Kustka; and John Kustka, cherished grandmother of Adam, Tammy, Will and Stephen and great-grandmother of Noah, Riley, Quinn, Jamison, Viola, Kyle and Alexis. She was the beloved daughter of the late Jean and Charles Mazzotta, loving mother of Christopher Jones and the late Robert Jones Jr., mother-in-law of Aileen, cherished grandmother of Ryder and Lennon and dear sister of Billy and Cathy Mazzotta and Maria Hayden Mazzotta. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
