(photos: Marcin Zurawicz) The Kiwanis Club of Glendale held an early Valentine’s Day celebration during its weekly meeting last Thursday, Feb. 12, at Glendale’s Zum Stammtisch restaurant. More than 65 Kiwanians and their friends, relatives and spouses turned out for the Sweetheart’s Day program, which featured a prime rib lunch and other treats. Det. Thomas Bell of the 104th Precinct Community Affairs Unit also dropped by to talk about the NYPD’s ride-along program, in which residents can shadow police officers on duty. 5 6 7 8
