Thief
swipes
some bucks
from bank
in Maspeth

Cops are still looking for a man
who robbed a Maspeth bank
last week.
On Feb. 7 at 3:50 p.m., offi cers
from the 104th Precinct responded
to a 911 call regarding a robbery at
Chase Bank, located at 69-55 Grand
Ave. An unknown man had entered
the bank and passed a note demanding
cash to the teller.
The teller complied with the
request and handed over $2,271
in cash. The suspect then fl ed the
scene down 69th Street on foot.
Offi cers from the 104th Precinct
responded to the scene. No injuries
were reported as a result of the
incident.
Police describe the suspect as a
white man in his 30s. He was last
seen wearing a black baseball hat,
black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans
and black sneakers.
