Bashed with trash
can at White Castle

Detectives are seeking the
public’s help in finding a
man who recently attacked
a customer inside of a White Castle
restaurant on the Ridgewood/Bushwick
border in Brooklyn.
According to police, the victim
was inside the fast food eatery at
1545 Myrtle Ave. on Dec. 30 at about
8:52 p.m. when the perpetrator
approached and hit him in the face
with one of the restaurant’s garbage
cans. The perpetrator then fl ed the
scene and has not been located.
Offi cers from the 83rd Precinct
responded to the scene. The victim
was treated at Woodhull Hospital for
a laceration to the left side of his face.
Police said the two men appeared
to know each other, but could off er
no further details.
The wanted suspect was captured
on the restaurant’s cameras and is described
as a Hispanic male with medium
complexion, curly dark hair and a
beard. He was last seen wearing a black
coat, blue jeans and black sneakers.
