Vehicle break-in
along Broadway
A vehicle parked in front of 281
Broadway had up to $3,000 in electronics
stolen out of it on Sept. 23 at
around 9 a.m., according to a police
report fi led with the 1st Precinct.
Among the missing items are three
Samsung S8 cellphones, a Samsung S4
and an IBM laptop.
Police have no description of the suspect
and the victim said the vehicle was
left unlocked.

A rude welcome to FiDi
A woman who moved into her new
apartment in the Financial District on
Sept. 26 reported her $11,300 earrings
missing from her belongings and the
1st Precinct in investigating the incident
as grand larceny.
The 33-year-old female victim claims
she noticed the items missing from
Creep sought for stalking young girl
Cops are looking for a serial stalker
who repeatedly harassed the same
girl near the Bowling Green subway
station in Lower Manhattan, according
to a Sept. 26 tweet from the 1st
Precinct.
“This suspect is wanted for stalking
a victim on numerous occasions,”
the tweet read, “including asking to
kiss the victim and attempting to
lure her away from school.”
The victim is a 14-year-old girl,
according to a police spokesperson.

which the victim said that the man
approached her as she exited the
Bowling Green subway station, in
the area of Broadway and Battery
Place.

According to police, the incident occurred
on Pine Street near Pearl Street,
and the company is conducting its own
investigation into the matter.

Law enforcement sources said
he allegedly asked to kiss her and offered
her money, trying to get her to
go away with him. The girl then ran
away.
According to sources, the victim
told police that she had seen the man
several times in the past, including in
Uptown Manhattan and The Bronx.
Police released surveillance images
of the wanted man as part of their
Sept. 26 tweet.

Sleepy subway
rider loses out
A man who fell asleep on the 1 train
told police he woke up at South Ferry,
the line’s terminus, and discovered that
his backpack was missing from the seat
next to him.
The victim told police that he boarded
the train at the 50th Street station
and missed his stop at Penn Station. He
later tracked his iPhone and it was already
in Staten Island around 76 Gordon
St. The cellphone is now offl ine.
Also in the backpack was a Dell laptop
which does not have location services,
according to police.
The police report said an investigation
yielded no results and that the victim
only reported the items stolen for
his employer.

13th Precinct
Gramercy
Robbers spray and
beat deliveryman
Four robbers beat up a deliveryman
and sprayed him in the face
with a chemical while robbing him
on a Gramercy street Monday night,
police reported.
Law enforcement sources said the
attack happened at about 9 p.m. on
Sept. 30 as the 36-year-old deliveryman
dropped off food at an apartment
building on East 24th Street near
3rd Avenue.
According to authorities, the four
bandits approached the deliveryman
soon after he arrived on the scene, and
demanded that he hand over his iPhone
and bicycle.
When he refused, cops reported, the
group went on the attack, punching
the deliveryman in the face. One of the
robbers then displayed a knife, while
another sprayed the victim with an unknown
substance.
The four thieves then took the deliveryman’s
phone and bicycle and
fl ed eastbound along East 24th Street,
authorities said.
Offi cers from the 13th Precinct and
EMS units responded to the incident.
Paramedics treated the victim at the
scene for his injuries.
As shown on the Citizen app, numerous
police units responded and canvassed
the area for the suspects, but the
search ended without any arrests made,
according to police.
Sources familiar with the investigation
described the suspects as four
Hispanic males.
The investigation is ongoing.

Thief walked right through unlocked door
An arrest was made for a burglary during the summer at the Palma restaurant
at 28 Cornelia St., police said.
On June 18, around 1:50 a.m., a man allegedly entered the restaurant, which
was closed at the time, through an unlocked front door. Once inside, he forced
opened the offi ce drawers and removed various items.
The man then fl ed on foot through the building’s front door and in an unknown
direction. Police say he got way with about $1,500 in cash. Camera
footage was available at the scene.
On Sept. 23, Christopher Lyles, 25, was arrested for felony burglary.
