Frantzdy Pierrot notched a first
half hat trick to help power Haiti to
a 4-1 victory over Bermuda in the
Second Round of the 2021 CONCACAF
Gold Cup Prelims on Tuesday
at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida, CONCACAF

With the result, it said Haiti have
qualified for the 2021 Gold Cup
group stage, “slotting into Group
B where they will face the United
States, Canada and Martinique.”
With his hat trick, Pierrot now
has five goals versus Bermuda in
just two Gold Cup matches, after
having scored both Haiti goals in
their 2-1 win in the 2019 group

South Africa wrapped up Twenty20
series by 25 runs in the final five-match
series at the Grenada National Stadium
on Saturday.
Featuring a line-up with some of the
game’s best power-hitters, the hosts
failed to live up to the hype, being
restricted to 143 for nine in their pursuit
of 169 for victory.
South Africa won the toss and sent
West Indies to take first strike.
In the chase, Evin Lewis’s 52 off 34
got the Windies off to a flying start but
the innings stalled in the middle overs
once again as the powerful batsmen
failed to deliver with Chris Gayle hitting
