Beecher’s Fault Beecher’s Fault is an artful folk rock/synth pop quartet whose intelligent lyrics combine irony with and a ‘90s angst creating a catchy new hybrid. “Sometimes we say imagine if Wilco and Passion Pit had a baby...that might sound like Beecher’s Fault,” explained Ben Taylor, one of the lead singers and the band’s guitar player. Even though it was the cheap rents that brought the members to Astoria, they found “a great home and supportive community for our music,” Taylor said. Beecher’s Fault likes to play and drink at Irish Whiskey Bar, a musicians’ hangout in Astoria.
