THE BEST FALL THINGS
By Ryan Kelley
There’s nothing like autumn in New York, and
there’s plenty to do around town!
TO DO IN NYC
The New York Coffee Festival
There is no better place to celebrate the intricate details of the coffee industry
than New York City, where you can get a $1 cup from a food cart or a $5 pumpkin
spice latte from a cafe on the same block.
At the 2019 New York Coffee Festival, guests will be able to sample such a
wide range of caffeinated flavors while being immersed in workshops and
demonstrations from world-class baristas and roast masters. Returning to the
Metropolitan Pavilion from October 11-13, the festival will also include street
food vendors, live music, a coffee-inspired art exhibit, and coffee cocktails.
Best of all, 100 percent of the profits from the festival are donated to Project
Waterfall, which is working in partnership with Charity: Water to bring clean
water, sanitation and education to the world’s coffee-growing regions.
Tickets are on sale now for $30 in advance or $40 at the door.
